Ongoing Projects
Together with Daniel Morgan of London, Bruce Taylor is currently completing a major study of Allied warship sinkings by German U-boats in the Second World War. Based on unpublished sources in six languages including Russian and French, this project provides an in-depth analysis into the fates of over 100 Allied warships and features extensive translations of the U-boat war diaries. Truly original in concept and execution, it will be a major contribution to the naval history of the Second World War and a significant methodological advance in the field. Due for publication in 2006.

Bruce Taylor is also editing the memoirs and papers of two men connected with H.M.S. Hood, Vice-Admiral Sir Francis Pridham and Commander E.W. Roberts.

In addition, Dr. Taylor is searching for leading battleship experts throughout the world to contribute a chapter on a battleship from their country’s navy for a major book on the subject. Please contact me if you are interested in contributing
